Import xls table data loss
Every time I import the data from excel I am losing some of data in the invoice numbers column. It appears to drop those that are numeric only but produces alphanumerics fine. The automatic settings go set the column as 'wide character'.

Re: Import xls table data loss
Hi there,
Invoice numbers should be "characters", since, for example, you don't want to lose leading 0s or letters. Since Excel is a spreadsheet, rather than a database, it can get a little wonky when it has mixed types within a column (i.e., it doesn't care, but a database does).
What I'd recommend is opening Excel and then saving the file as a CSV. Then, open the CSV in Strata. That will usually do the trick.
