Cannot install, Ubuntu 7.04

Postby insomniacity on Tue Aug 07, 2007 6:41 pm

I downloaded the package, extracted it, ran the setup executable.

The EULA box was blank, but if you agree anyway and proceed to the installation, you get an error message: "The installation configuration file could not be found."

Any ideas how I can install it? it looks really good!

Thanks!

"sudo ./setup" worked for me and I told it to install for all users, not just me (root at the time).

I didn't try installing as a non root user, so perpaps that is what's broken.

Nope, I see the same with sudo as I do without.

I can reproduce it when running as a LiveCD too.

Hello,

Are you trying to install the software either from or to a read-only volume? If so, try copying the installation folder to a read/write partition or directory and try again.

Let me know.

Best,
Ben
