Hello.
I wish to offer three suggestions that I believe would be very useful:
- include HREF data in a column when importing HTML (presently HREFs are ignored)
- ability to drag/drop applicable files into the project area
- support for XLSX (presently Excel support is XLS only)
I am new to Strata and finding it very useful.
Thank you.

Re: 3 Strata suggestions: HREF, Drag/Drop, XLSX
Hi there,
Thanks very much for suggestions, we'll add them to our feature list. The href is definitely a desired feature, as those links are quite valuable. Also, we will work on getting the new Office formats supported in an upcoming version; at this point, as you noted, they all need to be saved down to previous versions (.xls, .mlb or csv files).
Can you clarify the drag/drop suggestion? Do you mean, for example, dragging say a csv file from your Windows desktop into Strata's project panel and have either the connection automatically created or have it auto import/save (basically, instead of using the open/import functionality)?
Glad you are liking what you see so far with Strata, please let us know if you have any other questions. Also, as an aside, we'd recommend taking a look at the our video library page -- lots of good tips can be found here: http://www.kirix.com/help/video-tutorials.html
All the best,
ken

Thank you for your consideration.
BTW, yes I have purchased Strata.
Yes, your description of dragging is what I mean. It just seems logical to me this way.

We should have a release coming shortly; but it won't include xlsx support. That said, a CSV export (or, better, File > Save As External) should get you really close to an XLSX export, assuming you want to open it up in Excel.
