Deleting projects
We recently had a user delete a project instead of removing it from the list. It would be good if deleting projects be a thing that only administrators could do and not all users. Could that be somehow worked into strata to set users up as administrators to be able to delete projects?

Re: Deleting projects
Thank you for the feedback, we'll add this to our suggested feature list.
Generally though, Strata is a desktop tool for power users, so there are not really "permissions" at the tool level and it'd be best to manage those permissions on your network/database instead. For example, if your team is connecting to a database, we strongly recommend only providing read access to people unless required (which will prevent accidental deletions in that scenario).
Best,
ken

Re: Deleting projects
This is difficult to do on network permissions, because we extract our files from sql to strata native format, and then work it there...the files are on a network share as is the project info and the user needs to be able to delete, modify, create. So if they would need modify/read/write access in the network and in strata this means they can delete the project files as well which is what we don't want all users to have. If we take modify or delete perms away they can't work in the strata files the way they need to. We are planning on adding more users so the concern grows, since it already happened to us once before.
