From my data set I have used Group Data to create a simple Supplier analysis, detailing each supplier, the sum of the spend, number of entries... I would like to add 2 columns, one to count the number of instances where vat has been applied (ie is not 0) and the number of instances where vat is 0. In a similar software I used group options setting the conditions, I cannot see a similar function here...
Thanks

Re: how to create a data analysis with conditions
Hi there,
We don't have conditional grouping in our group analysis. However, a simple way to do this would just be to create two calculated fields in your table (where "vatfield" is the name of your field):
1. vatfield != 0
2. vatfield = 0
Then, just do a count in your group analysis on both of these new fields and you should have what you need.
Best,
ken
