ATOM support
Some sites provide feeds in ATOM - it would be great if you could support this (as well as RSS) - for example, http://www.theregister.co.uk/Design/page/feeds.htm

Re: ATOM support
Hello,
Yes, ATOM support should be easy to implement. After all, it's a standard that is more 'nailed-down' and standardized than the 'multi-faceted' RSS.
Thanks for the recommendation,
Ben

Re: ATOM support
Can I suggest that you also take a look at the Atom Publishing Protocol [0] for delivering collections and a set or standardized interaction patterns? It's used by Google Base[1], in some of the SUN REST code [2] and there is a commercial-friendly Apache 2.0 licensed implementation available [3] and a useful how-to article at [4,5].

Re: ATOM support
Thanks for the links, oisin. ATOM publishing has a lot of really great possibilities for pushing data as well as receiving it; particularly for structured data. We've got this on our radar and would love to implement this protocol within Strata.
Thanks for the idea!

All the best,
